- Blue whale and Bryde's whale spotted in Maharashtra for first time since 1914. So it is now important for our papers. I have discussed about Blue and Bryde's whale as following:

- Brevicauda aka Pygmy Blue whale is found in Indian Ocean
- Blue whale is the largest animal ever known to have lived – larger than even dinosaurs!
- Estimated life span is min 80 years
- They make sounds – called vocalisation – the reason is unknown
- IUCN Red list calls Blue Whale endangered
- Their natural predator is Orca
